About

I am a Brooklyn-based artist, originally from West Virginia. The woodcuts I make are hand-drawn, hand-carved, and hand-printed. The letterpress is vintage moveable type, and printed on a Vandercook press. Nothing digital here.

My prints combine pictorial narratives and tongue-in-cheek humor. These include, but are not limited to, inner conflicts, attitudes towards class, hidden desires, and judgment. These are often in series, including imagery such as flowers, migrant butterflies, introspective birds, eccentric sideshow performers, and anthropomorphic fish.

My work is in the collections of The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Taubman Museum, The Block Museum, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, The Beinecke Rare Book Library, and The Metropolitan Museum.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the prints.
